I can't believe that winter is just around the corner. As the days continue to get shorter and the temperatures to continue to drop, I never feel inspired to leave the house or to dress up and look cute. But I know that's not how the real world works. Eventually we all have to leave our homes and dress according to the weather in our areas. The only thing I like about about cooler temperatures is that I have the chance to wear all of my warm weather pieces like this cute sweater, this cardigan, this turtleneck sweater dress and this coat.
During the cooler months I always tend to grab a lot more knit pieces to add to my closet. Finding a really good sweater to wear with jeans and leggings is easy and somewhat expected during the winter season. But finding the right dress to wear might be a little more tricky. I have a small selection of sweater dresses that are perfect if I want to keep my look casual or dress things up a bit. What I love about wearing a sweater dress is that is combines the best of both worlds - it's a dress for when you need an effortless look and it also keeps you warm.
