I’ve been obsessing over monograms ever since I gave my sister a really cute monogramed tote bag from Thirty-One.  I ended up ordering one for myself, but I ended up putting my blog name on it instead.  I’m sure that I will eventually get one with my initials on it very soon. I’ve also been thinking about getting myself one of the monogram necklaces like the one below from Bauble Bar.  I used to have a nameplate when I was younger, but I lost it many years ago.  I think that the monogramed necklace would be a nice replacement for it.  It seems like these days, you can have just about anything monogramed from running shorts, blankets, make up bags to pillow cases, bathrobes and of course jewelry. I’m sure that most of you have heard by now, that the Pantone Color Institute® has picked the new color of the year for 2013.  And everyone is green with envy with the color.  The new color is a vibrant and lush Emerald Green.  Pantone describes this sophisticated and luxurious color as “a color of elegance and beauty that enhances our sense of well-being, balance and harmony.” I have to agree - there’s something very striking about this emerald color. Like last year’s color of the year (tangerine tango), emerald green will flatter all skin tones and there are so many ways to incorporate it into your wardrobe - anywhere from a pair of beautiful emerald earrings to an emerald green outfit from head to toe.  What do you all think about the new color of the year?  Do you plan to add a little emerald green in your wardrobe?  Let me know in the comments.
