Moody Style: Tropical Flowers

I can’t believe that January is almost over.  Where did the time go?  It feels like just yesterday that we were all planning our outfits for New Years Eve.  Well, I hope that everyone in the southeast is staying warm and safe this week especially those in Georgia and Alabama.  This cold weather is a little too much for us in the South.  I’ve definitely been thinking warm thoughts and dreaming of tropical weather for us down here.  I believe this weekend is going to get back to our normal temperatures, so I’ll we just have to hold on for a few more days.  In the meantime, I wanted to share a quick picture of an outfit that I’ve layered up for cooler weather.  I’m pretty sure that you all will see this outfit again minus the sweater and boots once the weather warms up again.  Did you get snow or any out of the ordinary weather this week? Let me know in the comments.

Moody Style: Peter Pan

It really felt like fall here in Florida on Monday and today it finally feels like winter.  I’ll post what I’m wearing today later on this week.  I’m not sure about you all, but this season I've been living in my skinnies more than usual.  And now I’m on the hunt for more fall colors like mustard, forest green and burgundy.  I’ve also been loving peter pan collars more than ever lately.  So, it’s no surprise that I fell in love with this beautiful embellished Peter Pan collar sweater from J.Crew Factory.  It’s a perfect collar to make a statement.  Anyways, here's my outfit of the day from Monday.  Do any of you have any trends that you have been wearing more than normal? Let me know in the comments.

Moody Style: Salut and Cheers

Cheers everyone!  I don’t know about you all, but I haven’t always been a big fan of wearing graphic t-shirts.  In fact, I didn’t really own any of them besides few a sports paraphernalia pieces. However over the past few months, my graphic t-shirt collection has grown a little bit all thanks to J.Crew.  Unfortunately, I missed out on the Kiss Tee, the Hello Tee and the Thanks Tee, but was able to snag the Cheers Tee as soon as it went on sale.  I love these graphic shirts because they are super soft and perfect to layer in cooler weather or wear alone when it warms up.  I also think that they are timeless pieces that anyone can wear. How do you feel about wearing graphic tees? Do you have any favorites from J.Crew or any other stores? Let me know in the comments.
