Moody Style: Paint Me Plaid

Are you guys mad for plaid like I am? I’ve wanted to grab a plaid shirt for a little some time now, but I just never bit the bullet until recently. I’m sure you’re wondering why…right? Well, I wanted to make sure that I found the right print and colors for me.  And thank goodness I finally did.  This Boy Shirt in Red Plaid from J.Crew immediately caught my eye a few months ago – especially since it was the only one in the store and luckily in my size.  Don’t you love it when that happens? I love the look of this shirt and I love how versatile it is too.  I was a little worried about wearing this look to work, but it surprising turned out great. What do you guys think?  Eventually, I plan to grab at least one more plaid shirt to make sure that I fulfill my little obsession for plaid.  Do any of you have any plaid items?  What’s your favorite piece? Let me know in the comments.

In the Mood: Legacy Crocodile Tote

I recently saw this beauty on Coach’s website and I fell in love.  The craftsmanship of the Coach Legacy Crocodile Tote is perfection and the style is a timeless classic.  The only thing that I don’t like about this amazing piece is the price.  For $10,000, I’ll continue to admire this little beauty from a far.  What do you guys think about this tote? Let me know in the comments.

Moody Style: In.VEST.ment

I don’t know about you all, but I’ve been obsessing over finding the perfect faux fur vest for a few years now. I’ve been looking for the perfect one, despite the fact that it doesn’t get extremely cold here in Florida. Finally, over the holidays I was able to snag myself 2 faux fur vest to add to my wardrobe – one in black and the other in brown. I think that adding a fur vest to your outfit is a great way to add texture to an outfit while keeping you warm in the meantime.  I love the fact that you can find a fur vest for just about every price point.  I found both of my pieces at JCPenney, but you can find one just about anywhere from Forever 21 and Kohl’s to Nordstrom’s and Club Monaco.  Have any of you invested in buying any faux fur pieces that you can’t live without. Let me know in the comments.
