Happy
Friday and Happy Cinco de Mayo Friends! Sharing a quick post of some of my
top 5 favorites items from Anthropologie this month. I stopped into the store
recently to try on a few things and realized that I haven’t shared my favorite things with you in a long time. There are so many amazing dresses, rompers and
jumpsuits in the store right now that are perfect for spring and any
upcoming vacations. Here are my top 5 favorites I can’t live without this month and I added a few more cute looks under the Shop the Post below. What are some of your must-have items this month?
Let me know in the comments below.
White
lace tops are everywhere this season and this $20 lace mock neck top that I found was too perfect to pass up. I’ve seen similar lace tops on other bloggers
before like this Self-Portrait version worn by Mary over on Happily Grey, but couldn’t justify paying the hefty price tag.
So when I saw this one at SheIn, I had to order one for myself. The lace detail in this top is feminine and
chic and the silhouette is flattering on all body types. I decided to wear this top with a pair of
distressed skinny jeans and my favorite pair of leopard heels. I opted to add a camisole underneath to make
it more office friendly or you could wear it with your bra exposed for an
edgier look. Since the weather is
warming up pretty quickly, you can swap out the jeans for a pair of cut off denim shorts and add a pair of
sandals like these and these to transition into summer.
Now that April is coming to an end, it’s
definitely time to schedule a pedicure and step into a new pair of shoes this
spring. Whether you are looking for something casual, strappy or classic, then
look no further cause I’ve got you covered.
I’m not sure about you all, but I personally can’t afford
spending almost $1k in a pair of shoes.
If I had that money I’d rather spend it on a new purse or clothes,
paying a bill or adding the money to my savings account. If I can find a similar
version of a designer shoe, then I’m definitely going to buy it, especially if
it’s a trendy style. And
it’s so easy to do. Lately I’ve found
some really good duplicates at Target and DSW, so there’s never a need to blow
your budget.
Well, I’ve put together a list of the top 5
spring shoe styles that you’ll need this spring. And there’s a little something for everyone
one at every price point.
BOW SLIDES OR MULES:
The bow slide is definitely one of my favorite shoe
trends of the season right now. It’s a
perfect staple for spring and summer that will transition easily from day to
night. I’ve already purchased these slidesin pink and stripes
and I’m really debating about picking up the black pair. I mean you can’t beat
the price tag on these cuties – they’re a real steal at $25.
ESPADRILLE WEDGES:
One style that will
never go out of style is a pair of the tried-and-true espadrille. It’s the perfect option for spring or summer. There are so many different styles this
season like these flats, these slip-onsor these fun wedgesthat everyone
is wearing lately. I’m personally obsessed with these classic espadrille wedgesfrom Steve Madden because you
don’t have to worry about a pedicure and you can still get a perfect “springy”
look.
POM-POM SANDALS:
This playful and colorful sandal is back
again this season and you don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars like this oneand this oneto try out this whimsical
trend. Designer dupes like Sam Edelman, ASOS and Target
are popping up everywhere this spring, so you can find a budget friendly version of this sandal that’s perfect for your
wallet. Grab yourself a sweet pair of
pom-pom sandals like this oneto add a fun twist to your spring wardrobe.
BLOCK HEEL SANDALS:
The block heeled sandal is another
shoe trend that is both comfortable and chic. The sturdy and versatile square-like
heel makes a statement all on it’s own and you don’t have to worry about sore
feet after wearing them all day.Trade
in your classic stilettos and grab yourself a block heel sandal with a cute
ankle strap like theseor
structured style like these. Wear them with a pair of jeans for a more casual look or
a dress for a night out.
GLADIATORS:
The classic gladiator sandal has been popular
for some time now and it’s definitely here to stay. If you don’t have a pair of
these strappy detailed sandals or if you’re in need of a new pair, then pick up
a pair like this one or this one. These gladiators give you an instant boho chic vibe without breaking the bank.
What are your thoughts on
splurging vs. saving? Would you rather save your money and buy the real thing
or save your money and get the look for way less?
