Travel: Savannah Getaway

Last weekend, my sisters and I took our mother to Savannah for a pre-Mother’s day weekend getaway.  My mother had been dying to go there for years now, so we decided that last weekend would be the best time because of our schedules.  My mother’s sole purpose of going to Savannah was to visit Paula Dean’s restaurant, Lady and Sons.  We had so many things on our agenda for the weekend it was hard to imagine that we would get it all done.  We bought tickets for one of the trolley tours and saw most of the historic highlights; we went to River Street, checked out several restaurants like Huey’s, Salt Water Grill and Zunzi’s.  We also checked out the 31st Annual SCAD Sidewalk Arts Festival and of course we hit up Broughton Street and Bull Street for some shopping.  Here are some pictures of the weekend – Enjoy!

    1. Thanks Sayaka - We've wanted to take her on a trip for a while now, so it worked out perfectly. We didn't want the weekend to end because we didn't want to leave each other. We all live in different cities so our time together is pretty limited.

    1. Thanks Dajana - Savannah is a perfect destination for any kind of weekend. My sister and I want to go back so we can have some fun during the city's nightlife. Couldn't do too much with mom there. Plus with all of the touring and sight-seeing, we were exhausted.
