Moody Style: Off The Shoulder Chambray Dress

Happy Friday Eve Luvs! I don’t know about you guys, but I’m so ready for a vacation! Although I’m looking forward to 3-day weekend coming up for Memorial Day, I think I’m gonna try to add in a couple more vacation days just for my own sanity. Anyone else feeling like they need a break?

If there is one hot trend to follow along this spring/summer, it’s definitely the off-the-shoulder trend! And this trend is so easy to follow, because just about every retail store has an off-the-shoulder top, dress or romper/jumpsuit for sale right now.  I’m a little obsessed with the off the shoulder trend, so when I found this J.Crew OTS dress it was a no brainer for me. I immediately fell in love with it after I saw another girl trying it on in the fitting room and I just had to buy it. I love simple dresses like this because you can just grab it and go and still look stylish without too much fuss. This cute dress is perfect for a date night with some strappy sandals, brunch with friends paired with espadrille wedges or a quick stroll in the park with some lace-up flats.

I am wearing a size 4 here and I’m really happy with the fit, but I do think the dress runs a little large. I normally wear a size 6 in most of the dresses from J.Crew, so you may have to size down if you decide to get it. One thing that I love about this dress is that the fabric is really soft. It looks like it could be heavier because of the darker wash, but it’s really lightweight and comfortable. Another thing I love about this dress is the price. This dress is $88 which is insane for a fairly new dress from J.Crew especially since most of their dresses are over $100. I got this dress during a promotion, so all together I think a got a great quality dress for a really good price and I highly recommend getting one for yourself. And if you’re hesitant about this chambray one, then you can check out this yellow one that’s beautiful for summer and this new ruffled one in red – I might have to get this one next.

Well, let me know what you guys think about the off the shoulder trend! Do you love it or hate it? Are any of you guys thinking about getting this dress? If you do, I would love to see how you styled it, so send me a picture. Have safe and fabulous weekends, friends!

Love from Florida,
Moody Girl

  2. The sizing, too, creates a more natural fit for younger women. Sometimes, there's no better experience than shopping for a dress, and with all the available junior styles, there's the perfect one out there just waiting to be found.https://www.luxtime.su/louis-vuitton-handbags
