Buying Black should not be a trend that we all follow for one day each month on social media. It should be something that we all do on a regular basis, but for some reason we don't. Today is another Blackout Tuesday dedicated to encourage you to support and shop from Black-Owned Businesses. Making a commitment to regularly spend with Black businesses is one small way to pour into to your community and elevate new businesses. This is the perfect time for us to be more mindful of where our dollars are being spent, who we are following and why we are following them. In support of Blackout Day, I'm sharing 25 of my favorite Black-Owned Businesses that we can all support today and in the future. I've purchased from a few of these brands so far and I have many items on my wishlist that are waiting for me to hit officially checkout. And remember, if you're not able to make a purchase today, then simply like and save a few photos on the brands feed, follow them on Instagram or share with your friends. A little support goes a long way.
Let's make shopping Black owned businesses something that is normal, so we don't need a special day to call it out. Check out my list below and let me know what brands you'll be supporting.
