Moody Picks: Shop Pink 2017

As many of you know, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. And even though the month is almost over, there is still time for you to help save lives, celebrate survivors and honor loved ones. Obviously, the best way to support the cause is to donate to your favorite foundation directly, but you can also contribute by shopping pink products from your favorite brands that support BCA charities. I’ve been meaning to bring back my previously named Fresh Picks to Follow segment for some time, but I never had a chance until now. I figure that this today is as good a time as any especially since it’s the beginning of October. By now, we all know that October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM) and that it’s time to support breast cancer research if you haven’t already started. There are so many different organizations that are working tirelessly to help prevent, treat, and ultimately eliminate breast cancer. Fresh Picks to Follow – Think Pink!

Well, it’s that time of year again - October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM) and it’s time to think pink. I’m pretty sure that most of you have noticed the number of pink-ribbon products strategically placed throughout some of your favorite stores lately. Most of these pretty pink products will benefit breast cancer research anywhere from 10% to 100% of the profits. Today, there are hundreds of ways to spread breast cancer awareness this month by supporting various national organizations, like Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc., that are continuously fighting for a cure. For this week’s Fresh Picks to Follow, here are my top 10 ways to think pink and support breast cancer charities all month long. How do you support breast cancer research?
