Fresh Picks to Follow – Critter Sweaters

When J. Crew came out with the French Hen Sweater earlier this year, I have to admit, I wasn’t the biggest fan.  I was surprised how insanely popular the chicken got and how quickly it sold out.   After a few weeks, the sweater started to grow on me a little bit.  I started to see it’s styling possibilities and tons of bloggers were also testing it out.  As cute as I thought the sweater was in the stores and online, I wasn’t moved to buy one.  In the end, it just wasn’t for me.  This fall I’ve seen an influx of critter sweaters at various retailers with a wide range of animals and price points.  Whether it’s a fox, a cat, a dog or even an owl, there is a sweater out there with your favorite critter on it. Moody Style: A Sunny Climate

Hi everyone!  I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend and that you are off to a great start so far this week.   I just wanted to post a few pictures of one of the outfits that I wore while visiting Savannah.  Can you believe that this was the first time that I wore the dress?  I don’t know it took me so long to wear it before now.  I really love how bright and cheery the dress makes me look.  It’s a pretty, feminine dress perfect for the summer.  And I think that the little birds all over the yellow skirt really adds a little something extra to the look.  Did any of you buy this dress last year?
