Moody Style: Office Casual

I haven’t had a chance to post too many outfits lately because I’ve been living in either suits for work while I traveling, workout clothes for my runs, and my pajamas while I’ve been working from home.  Yesterday, I finally made it back to the office, after a two-week hiatus and I was actually happy to be there.  In my previous job, I often wished I could work from home or not even go to work at all.  Back then - calling in sick came in very handy.  I’m happy to say that since I started my job last July, I’ve been very pleased. I genuinely love the people that I work with and my job duties are currently in line with my current career goals.  I’m just overall pretty happy, despite the fact that I don’t get to post here on a regular basis.  Are any of you having love fest with your job like I am? Let me know in the comments.

Current Mood – Top 3

I’ve been trying to cut back on my spending lately and it has been a huge challenge.  One way for me to accomplish this task is to avoid the malls and to stay of  some of my favorite stores.  The temptation is definitely there, but I realize that have to really evaluate what I need and don’t need in my closet.  That being said, I can still think about my dream closet and all of the goodies that I would love to have. Anyways, here are my top 3 items from Anthropologie for the month of February (sorry…this is a late wish list).  Do any of you have any favorites that you can’t live without this month?  What’s on your wish list?

Moody Style: Birthday Weekend

I just want to start off by apologizing for my absence over the past week.  I’ve been traveling for work like a mad woman lately and I don’t know if I’m coming or going these days.  I’m pretty sure I’m back on track, so bare with me.  I feel like I keep saying this over and over.  Hopefully, I’ll get it together.  Well, I just had another birthday on Monday and I had a great birthday celebration.  My birthday kicked off with a quick weekend trip to Miami, FL with my sister, C.  We went to a Miami Heat basketball game, hanging out in South Beach, shopping and of course eating some amazing food.  Speaking of food, have any of you been to Seasons 52 before?  I went there for the first time this weekend and I loved it.  One thing that I loved about this restaurant is that everything on the menu is less than 475 calories.  I know…I was surprised too.  I have to say everything that I tried was delicious.  If you have a Seasons 52 in your neighborhood and you haven’t tried it yet, then add this restaurant to your to –do list.  I’ll let you know how my actual birthday turned out in another post.  Do you have any birthday traditions that you always do every year? Let me know in the comments.
