February Wish List – Top 3

I hope that you all are having a wonderful weekend so far.  I’m off celebrating my birthday today and I’m having a blast with my sister and my bestie, M.  I plan to share the details of my weekend with you all hopefully Sunday evening.  Anyways, I had a tough time figuring out what 3 items I should pick for my top 3 for the month.  I went into Anthropologie last week and I tried on the Favia Shift Dress and I loved it.  I may have to treat myself for my birthday.  I didn’t try on the Corded Crossback Jumpsuit, but it looked great on the mannequin.  And I think the Scattered Wing Romper will be a great outfit for the spring and summer. Fresh Picks to Follow – Tangerine Tango

In December 2011, color specialists Pantone named Tangerine Tango the color of the year for 2012.  This color was seen all over the catwalks in collections by top designers like Oscar de la Renta, Bill Blass, and Céline to name a few.   Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute, describes Tangerine Tango as the “vivaciousness and adrenaline rush of red with the friendliness and warmth of yellow, to form a high-visibility, magnetic hue that emanates heat and energy.”   This juicy vibrant shade will compliment any wardrobe from spring all the way to winter.  I’m looking forward to checking out this hot new color in my favorite retailers throughout the year.  I’m even looking forward to checking out this “spirited reddish orange” hue in various pieces for home design.
