Moody Style: Need More Time?

Do you ever felt like there’s never enough time in the day to get everything done?  I’ve been feeling exactly like this for the past month now and it’s overwhelming to say the least.  I work five days a week and I work anywhere between 40-45 hours a week. During the week, I even try to workout several days in addition to maintaining some sort of a social life. By the time I get home most nights, it’s usually after 7pm and when I’m finally completely settled in after cooking dinner, taking a shower, catching up with family/friends via phone it’s usually after 9pm. When I have a moment to watch television and check emails, I sometimes don’t have time to update my blog on a regular basis. I try very hard to post something on my blog at least several days out of the week, but I’m finding it more and more difficult lately.  For the past week or so, I’ve noticed that I’ve been putting more pressure on myself to blog more and it’s exhausting.  Sometimes I have to remind myself of the reasons why I started my blog in the first place. I initially started this blog because I needed a creative way to express myself outside of my day job.  Now don’t get me wrong, this blog is my hobby and I have fun working on it.  I just wish I had more time in the day to do more.   Does anyone else feel like you need more time in the day?  For my fellow bloggers, how do you manage to get everything done in the day and still find time to blog?  Do any of you feel any pressure to blog on a regular basis? Let me know in the comments.

October Wish List – Top 3

Have you checked out Anthro’s new arrivals yet? If so, what did you all think about the pieces?  I’m only loving a handful of things this month and surprisingly I didn’t love any of the new dresses either.  As I’ve mentioned before, I’m ready for fall in the worst way.   And ever since I checked out Anthropologie’s online catalog for October, I’m really hoping for cooler weather sooner rather than later. Here are my top 3 items from Anthropologie for the month of October. Do any of you have any favorites that you can’t live without this month?  What’s on the top of your wish list?

Fresh Picks to Follow – Black and Blue

If you’re like me, I’m sure at some point in your life you’ve heard numerous fashion faux pas, such as don’t wear white after Labor Day, never mix patterns, don’t wear denim on denim and don’t wear black and blue together.  As you know, many fashionistas have long believed that those fashion faux pas are outdated and that it’s time to break the rules.  One rule that will be broken this fall is the color combination of black and blue.  These two colors have been paired together by major designers like Carolina Herrera, DKNY and Marc by Marc Jacobs.  To achieve this look, try grabbing a cobalt blue or navy blue top and pair it with black slacks or a skirt.  For this week’s Fresh Picks to Follow, here are my top 10 ways to take your black and blues combination to anything other than bruises. What do you think about this color trend? Let me know in the comments.
