Current Mood – Top 3

I always love the fall collection at Anthropologie and this year they did not disappoint.  There are so many beautiful patterns and prints this month that I really had a tough time picking out my top 3 items.  Although my wish list on Anthro’s website has almost doubled, I was able to narrow my list down to 3 pieces. Anyways, here are my top 3 items from Anthropologie that I’m loving this month. I tend to go back and forth about whether shirts with animals on them would look silly on me.  When this shirt went on sale, I finally decided to break down and buy it.  And I’m so glad that I did.  I don’t know what took me so long.  I get compliments on this shirt every time I wear it.  Now I wish I got another one in a different print.  Do any of you have any regrets of clothes that you didn’t have a chance to buy? Or have you bought something that you’ve been putting off for a while because you were on the fence, only to discover that you love it?  Let me know in the comments.

Moody Style: Purple Flower

Did you know that the name "Maeve" references a purple flower, a Greek goddess and a famously beautiful Irish warrior queen?  I had no idea until I read the editor’s notes on Anthro’s website.  I’m really loving this Maeve dress from Anthropologie.  The silk broomstick skirt is both playful and whimsical and the colors are perfect.  It’s one of my favorite summer dresses.  Thank goodness I have several more weeks of summer here in Florida.  Do any of you have a favorite dress from the summer?
