Moody Style: Contrasting Stripes

eShakti contacted me recently to do a product review of one of their amazing pieces.  Of course I had to say yes right away.  I had the opportunity to pick out my out item and I naturally went for a cute summer dress that I think I could wear a majority of the year.

When I picked out my dress, I had the option of selecting from the standard numerical size chart or the option to customize my size for an additional $7.50.  I picked out my size from the standard size chart based on the measurements listed.  However, I opted to add the custom styling to my order to adjust the length of the dress.  I was a little worried that the dress could be a little short, so I was pretty happy about this option.

I received my dress via DHL within a couple of weeks from placing my order.  The dress fit me perfectly and the length was perfect for my height.  I wouldn’t change anything else. Overall, I’m very happy with my experience with eShakti.  This is my first purchase from eShakti, but it will not be my last! I’ve been eyeing a few pieces the website lately like here, here, here and here.  I love how fun, flirty and chic everything is on the website.  And the prices are pretty decent as well.

If you guys are interested in making your first eShakti purchase, here is a coupon code exclusively for my readers.  Use 'moodystyles' in the promotional code box to get 10% off when you shop at eShakti.  This offer is valid until August 22, 2014.  If you are new to eShakti’s website, you can get a $25 credit, when you sign up today.  Have any of you ordered anything from eShakti before?  How was your experience?  Let me know in the comments.

Traveling Mood: San Jose, CA

I'm Going to Selfiebration at the Expo!In March, I shared that I registered for the 10th Annual BlogHer Conference in San Jose, CA from July 24 -26, 2014.  And I can’t believe that it’s finally here.  Honestly, it kind of snuck up on me.  I was doing a lot of last minute laundry and packing up until 1:00am.  And I had 7:00am flight, so needless to day I’m going to be a little tired today.  Overall I’m still pretty excited about attending my first blogger conference, but I’m a little anxious too.  I hope that I’ll learn some helpful tips to enhance my blog and meet some amazing new bloggers.  Be sure to check out my Instagram and Twitter page for the most up to date posts while I’m at the conference.

Tonight, I’ll be headed to the Selfiebration and Evening at the Expo!  This is the official first party of the conference full of networking and drinks, brand opportunities and more.  Can’t wait to share everything with you all.

Moody Style: Ahoy

Here’s a quick post of the outfit that I wore on the Fourth of July.  This playful nautical halter dress was described on Anthropologie’s website as an irresistible charmer adorned with schooners and anchors.  And I couldn’t agree more.  I was so happy when I scored this dress last winter for only $30.00. I love finding deals after the season.  I just had to hold on to this little number for a little while to make a big reveal for the red, white and blue holiday.  I can say this dress has been my favorite Fourth of July outfit by far.  Do any of you have a favorite outfit for the Fourth of July holiday?  Let me know in the comments.

Moody Style: Sassy in Stripes

I can’t believe that June is already over.  I feel like I say this every month, but I’m genuinely surprised how fast time is flying by.  This past week and a half was a world wind between traveling for work and traveling for personal reasons.  I traveled to Pensacola, Orlando, West Palm Beach over a matter of several days and then took an unexpected trip to Jamaica to visit family.  I just got back home today and I’ll be home bound for the remainder of the week.  I’m really looking forward to relaxing and celebrating the 4th of July with friends and family.  I still don’t know what we’re doing but I know I’ll have a good time.  Do you have plans for the 4th of July? Let me know in the comments.

Moody Style: Antique Floral

I’m a little late in posting about my obsession with J.Crew’s Antique Floral collection, but that’s okay, right?  Better late than never is what I always say.  Anyways, back to me talking about my love for the antique floral pattern.  I think that this pattern is so versatile and feminine. And it seems that I wasn’t the only one considering there are only a few pieces available on the site.  I only wish I had gotten the pencil skirt before it sold out. Do you have a favorite pattern from J.Crew that you wish they would bring back? Let me know in the comments.
