As many of you know, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
And even though we're well into month, there is still plenty of time for
you to support breast cancer research initiates, celebrate survivors and
honor loved ones. Obviously, the best way to support the cause is to
donate to your favorite foundation directly, but you can also contribute
by shopping pinkproducts from your favorite brands that support BCA charities.
This month, beauty brands like Bobbi Brown, Clinique and Dr. Dennis Gross
will be donating a portion of proceeds from certain bestselling or limited
edition products to organizations like the Breast Cancer Research Foundation or charities that provide life-saving resources benefiting at-risk
or affected individuals, like The Pink Pony Fund created by the Ralph Lauren Cooperation. Below is a list of over 20 items that you can buy now and feel really good

This year,
Lilly Pulitzer
introduced a new print, Purrposefully Pink, in support of the Breast
Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). This print was hand painted in the Lilly Pulitzer print studio and
inspired by sisterhood, friendship, and the support that women give to
one another when going through a difficult time. The styles in the Purrposefully Pink collection are designed to bring awareness, conversation, and community around those impacted by
breast cancer, and to fund critical research needed to put an end to
this disease. As a direct contribution in support of this Print with Purpose,

is donating $35,000 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation this year,
funding over 700 of critical research hours in the lab.

What is the LILLY SUNSHINE SALE?
The Lilly Sunshine Sale is the same thing as the After Party Sale (APS) that we are all
familiar with over the past several years. Lilly Pulitzer changed the
name from the After Party Salebecause this sale will be ONLINE ONLY. Due to COVID-19,
Lilly Pulitzer is following the CDC guidelines regarding safety, since it isn't feasible to the stores to accommodate the large crowds that the sale usually
generates.
This sale is a semi-annual event where Lilly Pulitzer places items on major discount, usually 30% - 50% off their
original price tags! Hundreds of items are included in the sale, but
inventory sells out very quickly. If you're looking for dresses for you
next special occasion, a cute top to wear in the office or work
from home, or even loungewear or workout clothes, then the Lilly Online
Sale is the best time to grab all things Lilly Pulitzer!
When is the LILLY SUNSHINE SALE?
The Lilly Online Sale begins Monday, September 13tharound 8:00 am (ish) EST and will run through11:59 pm EST on Tuesday, September 14th.
Be sure to have a Lilly Pulitzer account set up and make sure that your shipping, billing,
payment information is correct. If you don't have one yet,
then head over to the website now to create an account. If you set up your account ahead of time, then you'll save a ton of checkout time and
increase your chances of getting everything in your cart.
How to shop the LILLY SUNSHINE SALE?
Once the sale gets started and you enter the Lilly Pulitzersite, you are automatically placed in the virtual line. No matter how
high your number is, please DO NOT REFRESH your browser. You will loose
your place in line and will be moved to the very back of the line. I also
wanted to let you know that you can only check out once during that
session. After you check out, then you’re placed back at the end of
the line.
Quick Tip: If you’re desperately looking for a certain item, then
try using multiple devices - phone, tablet and laptop. You
can also ask your friends/family/husband to get in on the fun to help
you. Will styles and sizes get restocked? The short answer is NO! Once an item sell out, it is usually gone for the remainder of the sale.
However, you can try calling signature Lilly stores and Lilly retail
stores to see if they will ship the items to your home. You can also check
out a few other retailers for price matching options like Zappos,
6pm.com, Nordstrom and Amazon.
Quick Tip: Be sure to check the Lilly website a few times during the sale, because Lilly is going to release 2nd
capsule on Tuesday, September 14th.
A Few Other Helpful Tips:
Set a Budget - Be smart and set a budget for the sale. It's easy to get caught up with
all of the fun pieces when the sale goes live. However, unlike
many other sales this one is FINAL. So be sure to pay attention to
how much you want to spend and how much you can spend. There is no
reason to go into debt or rack up your credit card bills for this
sale.
Make a Wish List-I think that creating a wish list is helpful because it helps you stay on track with your spending. This time around,
I'm only looking for a few items - this dress, these leggings and this
top. Once I get those in my cart, then I may look at some accessories as gift ideas for the holidays. Know Your Sizes - Since I wear Lilly a lot I don't worry too much about sizing when
I order online. Certain items do run a little big and that's when I rely on the
review from other customers! For reference, I’m typically a S or M in
tops and a size 6 or 8 in dresses at Lilly. If you’re unsure
about your size, then you can review the size chart HERE! Also note that if you purchase something that doesn't fit, you can try to resell it to
other Lilly lovers on Lilly Facebook groups, Poshmark or eBay.
At the end of the day, just remember that it's just clothes and there
will always be another sale. So don't worry if you miss out on
