Moody Picks: The Little White Dress

The little black dress will always be the number one fashion staple in your wardrobe, but over the next few weeks, the spotlight will shine bright on its super stylish sister, the little white dress or LWD.  The LWD is simple, clean, and fresh and it flatters just about every skin tone.  You can never go wrong with a LWD because it’s a look that never goes out of style.  This look is a perfect option for a graduation party as much as it is for a backyard barbeque. You can also pair it with colorful, metallic or nude accessories to allow the dress and the accessories to stand out.

Moody Picks: Summer Sandal Roundup

With warmer weather approaching, it’s about that time to get the perfect sandals to show off your pedicured toes.  If you need some new sandals this year, you’re going to love the ones on this list. Each pair will look great with your favorite springtime or summertime outfits.

Including the Joie Renee Gladiator Sandals that I recently bought from DSW.  These sandals came out some time last year, but I missed the boat, like always.  I’m so glad that I had a second opportunity to get them.

Moody Picks: Show Her Some Love

So Mother’s Day is 5 days away and I haven’t bought a gift for my mom yet. I should be freaking out since I’m still not entirely sure what I’m getting her. Are you in the same boat?

In the past, I’ve gotten my mom a few handbags, statement jewelry pieces, bouquet of flowers and even perfume.  This year, I’m completely stumped - I have no clue what to get her.  My sisters and I plan to take her out to brunch on Saturday, so at least we have something planned.  Well, I just started brainstorming and put together a quick shopping guide to help myself and anyone else having trouble coming up with gift ideas for the special lady in your life.  Hopefully we can all figure out a way to celebrate mom with a gift that she'll absolutely love.

I can’t get enough of all of the off-the-shoulder silhouettes I’m seeing in stores lately! From tops, to dresses and even jumpsuits and rompers.  I definitely feel like I need to add more of this stylish and sexy trend to my closet.  And now that the weather is finally warming up it’s time to say goodbye to the layers and hello to shoulders. Moody Picks: Blush-Worthy Dresses

Most of you know by now that Pantone named their pick for their 2016 Color of the Year and one of the two shades picked out is called Rose Quartz (the other is called Serenity).  Rose Quartz is a beautiful shade of blush pink and it’s one of this season’s biggest trends.  If you look around, you'll see blush rose tones in just about every store and in products like makeup, clothing, shoes, accessories and even home décor.

This shade is very feminine, romantic and it’s perfect for spring. I just recently went to a friend’s wedding last night and my blush dress was just the right touch for the evening celebration.  I definitely think that every girl should have a least one blush dress in their wardrobe for weddings or any other special occasion.  So if you’re looking for the perfect dress, look no further because I’ve found a few beautiful dresses that you’re gonna love.
