Good Morning Friends! I'm sure by now that you've already
heard more than you need to know about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! And
you're going to hear a lot more since we still have a few more days until Early
Access starts. As I mentioned before, Early Access officially starts
on Friday, July 12th at 12:30 pm EST and Public Access starts on Friday, July
19th.
I've had a couple of weeks to preview the catalog and there
are so many things that I'm loving right now. I seriously can't wait to
see the entire sale once it goes live on Friday especially since the catalog is
a small portion of the items that will be available. I've heard that
there are over 10,000+ pieces included in the sale this year, so get ready to
be wowed. Anyways, I thought it would be fun to put together a quick post
of some of my top favorite picks from the catalog along with a few sneak peeks.
Unfortunately you can’t shop these items now, but the items
will be averrable when the sale going live on Friday, July 12! You
can always can bookmark this page & the links will be available when the
sale starts. And remember that Nordstrom has an awesome return policy, so if
you aren't sure about the size, just buy multiples and you can send back what
doesn’t work for you.

HOW TO SHOP EARLY ACCESS
The best way to shop the sale before everything sells out is
making sure that you have Early Access. Nordstrom Cardholdersget
to shop the sale a week earlier than everyone else.And this is key takeaway because most of the best
sellers are sold out within a matter of days. So, if you want to shop early, then
you will need to apply for a Nordstrom Credit Card.
If you don’t already have a Nordstrom Credit Card, then you
will need to sign up herefor the early
access. And if you apply for the Nordstrom Card before July 10th, then you will
get a $60 bonus note that can be used at a later time.
SHOPPING STRATEGY
The Nordstrom Anniversary Salecan be very overwhelming, especially if you don’t
have a plan in place.I think number one
thing that you should do is to assess your fall wardrobe and make a list of
items that you need to add/replace in your closet. And the second thing you
need to do is to set an overall budget for yourself and really try to spend too much money. It’s super easy to get swept up in the excitement of the sale, believe me I
know.I’ve bought and returned a plenty of
items in the past that weren’t within my budget and that I ultimately didn’t need. Pro Tip: Buy Now, Return Later - With
that being said, don’t be afraid to order multiples sizes since some items sell
out really fast and the shipping/return is free.Be sure to focus on items that you use
regularly and take advantage of stocking up on wardrobe basics and any home
items.This is also a good time to start
thinking of holiday gifts.

The catalog will give you a good idea of some of the items that will be available even though there will be so much more. Pro Tip: See Details Online Now - You can take the item number from the catalog and plug it into the search bar to get more details about each product on the Nordstrom site.

I’ve been shopping the Anniversary Sale for a few
years now and I’ve noticed that Nordstrom tends to bring back some of the same
items. They may tweek an item here and
there, but for the most part some are the same like these High-waisted Zella Leggings, this super soft Plush Throw, the Spanx Faux Leather Leggings
and this Madewell Ryder Cardigan.This year I
plan to be very focused on things that I need to replace in my closet and a few
items that I missed out on last year.I
plan to look for a really good pair of jeans, a couple of sweaters, basic
t-shirts, a skirt and a couple of shoes.I also plan to pick up a few beauty items and the infamous Barefoot Dreams In the Wild Throw because I've wanted one for a while now and it never goes on sale.

friends - it’s time for me to share my 2018 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Fitting Room Reviews. This is one of my favorite posts to write
because I get to share with you some of my favorite sale items and some of my
purchases that I’ve made so far. And I
have to say, this year Nordstrom has some fabulous pieces available to spruce
up your fall wardrobe. I think you’re going to like shopping it this year.
The first
day of the sale was a complete blur filled with early morning online orders, uploading
a blog post with my top picks and eventually shopping for a few hours in my
local Nordstrom. I even recorded a dressing room try on haul so I could share
it with you guys the first day of the sale. Were you able to check it out on
my Instagram Stories? Right now, I’m pretty sure that I bought everything
I wanted and so far no orders have been cancelled yet, so that’s a good sign.
Anyways,
I’ve rounded up everything that I tried on and a few things that I bought complete
with a review of each item. Almost everything I picked up during this sale
is under $100, with the exception of this pink blazerthat I ordered

I don't own too many Topshop pieces in my closet, but when I saw this culotte jumpsuit I tried it on immediately. I love the polka dots, the wide legs and the strappy neckline, but this just did not fit my body correctly. I always have trouble finding a jumpsuit that fits me perfectly and this one did not help my quest to finding the perfect jumpsuit. This one had too much extra material in the torso area, but it fit everywhere else. I think this is one of those jumpsuits that you have to try on to see if it works. (size reference: size 8)
I'm loving the look of this high/low dress and this color is just perfect. I think the fit of this dress is pretty true to size, but you may want to size up to have a little more room around the hips and thighs. This dress barely fit me, but the next size up would have been too big in the bust area. If you're looking for a great dress to wear to the office during the day and then straight to happy hour at night, then this is your dress. (size reference: small)
Are you guys loving this
scallop sweater as much as I am? I mean how cute is this? I love the scallop detail on the neckline and the hemline of this top - it just makes it so playful. I'm also loving the 3/4 sleeve too. This top isn't too heavy either, so you could definite wear it now especially in a cold office buildings. The fit of this sweater is true to size and it also comes in several fun colors. Right now all of the sizes are sold out, but I'm really hoping they restock everything when the sale opens to the public tomorrow. Because I really want to get the light pink one too. You guys need to get these jeans!!! I have them in white and I've been wearing the heck out them this summer. So these dark wash skinny jeans were a definite must have for me to bring me into the fall season If you're looking for a trendier pair of jeans without paying a high price tag, then these jeans will be perfect for you. The fit is true to size. (size reference: size 29) BOUGHT IT!
I really wish that I took a picture of the back of this sweater tank because it's everything. The front of the top is pretty & simple and the back has an edgy lace-up detailing that you can't ignore. This top is also a great top to transition from day to night and summer to fall. You can also layer it with the right jacket or cardigan for a crisp fall day. The fit is true to size and it only comes in one color. (size reference: small)
This super soft tee is a definite must have for the fall season. It comes in 6 colors and has raw edges and slits on the side to create the perfect draping. This top is perfect on its own and for layering under jackets and cardigans. I also think the fit is true to size. I normally wear a small in my tops and the small worked for me. It is a relaxed, slouchy fit, so some of you may want to size down for a more tailored look depending on your style.So far I only grabbed this white one, but I'm really thinking about snagging a couple more. However, I just realized that laundry instructions say that this top is dry clean only. This could cause an issue for some people since it's another added expense for maintenance. This is the best time
to stock up on sweaters and cardigans like this one. Last year, the BP brand
had a similar oversized cardigan and it sold out pretty fast. I'm not
sure if Nordstrom is going to restock this one, but if they do, then you try to
snag one. Its really comfortable and a perfect layering piece for just
about any outfit. The cardigan comes in 5 colors and most of the sizes
are sold out right now, but hopefully they will be restocked by the time the
sale opens up to the public. I bought the beige oatmeal and the grey colored
one and I bought it in my normal size. I
probably could have sized down to an extra small, but I liked the way the small
looked on me. (size

I completely overlooked these jeans on the first day of the sale, but I'm so glad that I found them. I fell in love with the fit of these jeans - they are not as baggy as a boyfriend fit and they are a little looser than a pair of skinny jeans. And I love the distressing and the exposed hemline too. I think these jeans run a little big, so I would size down like I did here.(size reference: size 28) BOUGHT IT!
Plaid Square Scarf{Now: $24.90 / Reg: $38.00} If you saw my collection of
blanket scarves, then you already know that I don't need to buy anymore. BUT, this one was too good to pass up and the price was just right, so this one came home with me. This beauty is a true blanket scarf square measuring in at 54 inches. It's super soft and the burgundy, navy and gold colors in the plaid design are perfect for fall. (size reference: one size) BOUGHT IT!
This long sleeve striped tee is perfect for layering. I didn't think I needed to get any more striped tops, but I couldn't want to miss out on this one. This tee will look perfect with a scarf or just a light jacket for a cute fall look. This top is pretty light-weight and has a loose, slouchy fit that drapes perfectly. The fabric in this tee is also really soft and it fits true to size. It comes in (6) other colors including this white striped one, but it keeps selling out. However, I found a similar white one for $19 HERE. (size reference: small) BOUGHT IT!
Faux Leather & Suede Satchel{Now: $52.90 / Reg: $79.95} I love this mix of faux leather and suede satchel. This handbag is a great one to wear now and then transition into the fall season later. It's really roomy and has a shoulder strap for another styling option. This satchel also comes in black, if you're not really feeling this color. (size reference: one size) BOUGHT IT!
This is another scarf that I'm really loving right now. The checkered print of navy, orange and cream adds just the right pop of color to any fall look. I love how it changes the entire look of my outfit in the previous picture. All I need to do is add some boots and I'm ready for a cool fall day.
I love the boho charm of this faux wrap dress. The ruffled sleeves and the bow-tie waist belt adds a feminine and romantic feel to the dress. The colors in this dress are perfect for fall and would look fantastic with a suede jacket or a cardigan for layering. The fit of this dress is about true to size for a junior dress. If you're in between sizes, then I recommend sizing up. (size reference: medium)
