I thought it would be fun to start a back up an old segment called Moody
Mondays! What exactly is Moody Mondays? The new version will be an on-going
series where I'm going to share a few pieces that caught my eye. The
feature may include a mood board inspiration for a space in your home, random
clothing items & accessories or outfit ideas with head to toe style
ideas. I hope that you enjoy this as much as I liked putting this

is when we all get excited to shop
The Lilly Online Sale better known as the infamous After Party Sale. This year the sale is scheduled to start tomorrow morning at 8:00 am
EST on Monday, January 4th and will run through11:59 pm EST on Tuesday, January 5th. If you're new around here, then grab a cup of coffee and get comfy as we
dive into some details about the Lilly Pulitzer After Party
Sale.

What is the Lilly Online Sale?
The Lilly Online Sale is the same thing as the After Party Sale (APS) that we are all
familiar with over the past several years. Lilly Pulitzer changed the
name from the After Party Salebecause this sale will be online only. Due to COVID-19,
Lilly Pulitzer is following the CDC guidelines regarding safety, since it isn't feasible to the stores to accommodate the large crowds that the sale usually
generates.
This sale is a semi-annual event where Lilly Pulitzer places items on major discount, usually 30% - 50% off their
original price tags! Hundreds of items are included in the sale, but
inventory sells out very quickly. Most of these items will be from last
summer through the end of 2020, so if you had your eye on something,
then this sale is the best time to grab all things Lilly Pulitzer!
How to get ready for the Lilly Online Sale?
Be sure to have a Lilly Pulitzer account set up and make sure that your shipping, billing,
payment information is correct. If you don't have one yet,
then head over to the website now to create an account. If you set up your account ahead of time, then you'll save a ton of checkout time and
increase your chances of getting everything in your cart.
How to shop the Lilly Online Sale?
Once the sale gets started & you enter the Lilly Pulitzersite, then you are automatically placed in the virtual line. No
matter how high your number is please DO NOT REFRESH your browser. You
will loose your place in line and will be moved to the very back of the
line. I also wanted to let you know that you can only check out once
during that session. After you check out, then you’re placed back at
the end of the line.
Quick Tip: If you’re desperately looking for a certain item, then
try utilizing multiple devices or you can ask your family/friends to
help you. Will styles and sizes get restocked? The short answer is NO! Once an item sell out, then it is usually gone for the remainder of the
sale. You can also check out a few other retailers for price matching
options like Zappos, Nordstrom and Amazon.
Quick Tip: Be sure to check the Lilly website a few times during the sale, because Lilly will drop a few new
styles at some point on Tuesday, January 5th.
A Few Other Helpful Tips:
Set a Budget - Be smart and set a budget for the sale. It's easy to get caught up with
all of the fun pieces when the sale goes live. However, unlike
many other sales this one is FINAL. So be sure to pay attention to
how much you want to spend and how much you can spend. There is no
reason to go into debt or rack up your credit card bills for this
sale.
Make a Wish List-I think that creating a wish list is helpful because it helps you stay on track with your spending. Know Your Sizes - Since I wear Lilly Pulitzera lot I don't worry too much about sizing when I order online. Certain items do run a little big and that's when I rely on the
reviews from other customers! For reference, I’m typically a S or M in
tops and a size 6 or 8 in dresses at Lilly. If you’re unsure
about your size, then you can review the size chart HERE! Also note that if you purchase something that doesn't fit, you can try to resell it to
other Lilly lovers on Lilly Facebook groups, Poshmark or eBay.
At the end of the day, just remember that it's just clothes and there
will always be another sale. So don't worry if you miss out on
this one. If you are shopping the sale, then be sure to wake up early,
grab a cup of coffee, take a deep breath and have fun!!!
