Sharing
a quick post of some of my favorites items from Anthropologie this
month. I haven't posted one of these posts in a while, but I thought
I would bring it back. I’m seriously loving everything in Anthropologie
right now. The colors and patterns are all just perfect for fall.
There are so many beautiful dresses, tunics and jumpsuits that I know that
you're going to love too. In my previous posts I would pick out my top 5
items that caught my eye and that was hard to do for this month. I would
love to add so much more to my closet, but here's my short list for the month of
August that I can’t live without. What are some of your must-have items
for the month? Let me know in the comments below.

Do you guys plan to buy anything from this Summer Bonus Sale?
I haven’t bought anything yet, but I need to pick up a few things to restock before the sale ends on Tuesday, August 27th. As I mentioned in previous posts, I
usually stock up on my beauty favorites or try out new products that others are
raving about. This is the time to check out best selling skincare lines
like Drunk Elephant, Tatcha, Sunday Riley and even La Mer.
In today's post, I'm sharing my top 5 must-haves for makeup & skincare along with a few other beauty favorites below:
1. Drunk Elephant has two of my favorite products - the TLC Sukuri Babyfacial and Virgin Marula Antioxidant Face Oil. I’ve
been using Drunk Elephant products over the past year and I'm pretty hooked. I've used all of the products in the collection, but I'll continue to repurchase these two for a while. The Sukuri Babyfacial is an amazing mask that has cleared up blemishes, shrunk my pores and brightened my skin. It's definitely worth the extra money if you can afford to spend it. The Virgin Marula Oil is pure marula oil that will work wonder on your skin. I use this one every night!
2. NarsNatural Radiant Long-Wear Foundation- This is my current favorite because it is a perfect build able full-coverage foundation. It goes on super smooth and doesn't look cakey. I wear shade: Cadiz.
3.Fenty BeautyPro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer- I love this primer so much right now. It has been my go-to product when I decide to wear makeup. It lays well under my foundation and gives my skin a smooth and flawless matte finish.
4. BeccaUnder Eye Brightening Corrector- One of my favorite products for my two-step process to combat my dark circles. This peachy/pink corrector balances out the blue tones under my eyes and creates a base so my concealer can its job.
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is more than getting great deals on new fall fashion pieces. It's also a great time to check out the home decor section for possible gift ideas. Every year, I always pick up one or two pieces like these candles or this plush throw to use as extra Christmas gifts. Anyways, I wanted to put together a quick round up of a few of my favorite home decor pieces from the sale. Let me know what you think about my picks below.
Happy Friday Friends and Happy Anniversary Sale! Now the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is open to the public, I wanted to put together a quick post with some cute finds that are both still in stock and under $50. I’m really glad I did this because I never noticed these leopard heels or this Swiss dot blouse available in several colors. And both of these are so cute. I know so many of you are hoping that they restock some of the best sellers from last week. I’m definitely keeping my fingers crossed because there are a few more things that I would like to grab for myself. Let me know what are some key items that you’re looking for today, so I can keep an eye out for you.
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Accessfinally got started yesterday and there are so many good pieces that I know that you will want to add to your fall wardrobe. I was able to snag a few pieces that caught my eye the other day and I'm pretty happy with my purchases. Anyway, I just wanted to put together a quick list of my top overall favorite picks from the sale. I fear that most of these pieces will sell out pretty quickly, but just keep checking the website for possible restocks/returns. Let me know what you guys think about the Anniversary Sale so far.Are you planning on doing any shopping this year. What are some of your favorites?
Good morning friends! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here for all cardholders and you finally get to shop the sale you’ve been hearing about
for a few weeks now! This is the best time to stock up on closet staples
and items that you will need during the fall season. My favorite part of the sale is that you save a bunch of money on some items that never go on sale like any of the Barefoot Dreams throws and
cardigans and Spanx Faux Leather Leggings. The only thing that I don’t love about the sale is that so
many item sell out super FAST! So if you see something that catches your eye or
if you’re on the fence about an item, then just grab it now and return it later!
Anyways, I wanted to put together a quick post that would be
both helpful and informative for you instead of listing a bunch of items that
you just don’t need. Below is a list of my top picks from the sale. These are items that will last you more than just the season and you can wear some of them now and transition well into fall/winter. I have some of these pieces from last year and I'm very happy to say that I didn't need to buy too many items this year.
Here are my TOP 5 PICKS from the sale: 1. Pleated Midi Skirt- A beautiful staple piece that is very well made and fits perfectly (already sold out, but I found a cute amazon dupe HERE).
2. Barefoot Dreams In the Wild Throw- This throw never goes on sale, so this is the best time to buy one. It's super soft, comfortable and worth the splurge. I just bought one yesterday for the first time because I've alway wanted one.
3. Spanx Faux Leather Leggings - These are the best leggings out there and definitely the most popular. These leggings rarely go on sale, so this is the best time to buy them. I bought my first pair last year and they really are worth the money. They suck you in just at the right places.
4. Leopard Cardigan- I bought this sweater earlier this year and it sold out then. So I was pretty happy to see them bring it back for the sale This will sell out pretty quickly during the sale because it's comfortable, the print is perfect and the price is under $50. 5. Booties - Every blogger has raved about these booties since the sale got started. I ordered myself a pair because it looks like a really well made bootie. I love the cut out style and the heel is pretty reasonable. It comes in several other colors and even a couple snakeskin prints. I'm pretty sure it will sell out as well.
Here are a few more pieces that I'm loving right now:
Next up is the try-on haul. Yesterday, I
stopped by the Nordstrom store at St. Johns Town Center to shop and I put
together a fun styling session for you all.I found a few items that I love and created a few outfits around those
specific pieces.I wanted to share you
how you could wear certain pieces serval ways to get more bang for your
buck.Unfortunately my store doesn’t
have a huge inventory, but I was able to create a few different looks
with the items that were available. I will also upload this try-on haul via
video on Instagram Stories and save to my Highlights, so you can view them
when they expire.Let’s dive in to today’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale try-on haul!
My Size Reference: I’m 5’7 and I typically wear size
6/28 jeans, small or mediums in tops and dresses.
I picked out this skirt because of the print of course and because of its versatility. This is a skirt that you can definitely wear now and then continue to add layers to take you into the fall and winter season. I'm wearing a small in the skirt and it fits true to size.
I missed out on these jeans last year, so I had to grab them. I wanted to get a really good pair of jeans during the sale and this one does not disappoint. It fits true to size - I'm wearing a 28 in these. I have heard that it stretches out pretty easily and that you need to size down. So if you're worried about that, then size down. I love the style of these jeans - the high waist and button front is right up my alley. They are also under $100.
This lace cami will probably sell out pretty quickly. It's such a cute piece that you can wear alone with jeans or under a cardigan or blazer for work. It comes in several colors and has adjustable straps. The price point is also good since it's only $25. I'm wearing a small in the camisole.
Good Morning Friends! Tomorrow is the big day and I can't wait for you all to see all of the amazing pieces available. There are so many good items this year that it's making it really hard for me to narrow down my favorites. As I finish shopping and working on my big post for tomorrow, I wanted to share a few more Sneak Peeks that I'm loving right now. Check them out below and let me know what you think and what you hope to buy this year at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

see the entire sale once it goes live on Friday especially since the catalog is

there are over 10,000+ pieces included in the sale this year, so get ready to
be wowed. Anyways, I thought it would be fun to put together a quick post

will be averrable when the sale going live on Friday, July 12! You

The best way to shop the sale before everything sells out is
making sure that you have Early Access. Nordstrom Cardholdersget
to shop the sale a week earlier than everyone else. And this is key takeaway because most of the best
sellers are sold out within a matter of days. So, if you want to shop early, then
you will need to apply for a Nordstrom Credit Card.

will need to sign up herefor the early

SHOPPING STRATEGY
The Nordstrom Anniversary Salecan be very overwhelming, especially if you don’t
have a plan in place.I think number one
thing that you should do is to assess your fall wardrobe and make a list of
items that you need to add/replace in your closet. And the second thing you
need to do is to set an overall budget for yourself and really try to spend too much money. It’s super easy to get swept up in the excitement of the sale, believe me I
know.I’ve bought and returned a plenty of
items in the past that weren’t within my budget and that I ultimately didn’t need. Pro Tip: Buy Now, Return Later - With
that being said, don’t be afraid to order multiples sizes since some items sell
out really fast and the shipping/return is free.Be sure to focus on items that you use
regularly and take advantage of stocking up on wardrobe basics and any home
items. This is also a good time to start
thinking of holiday gifts.
CATALOG PREVIEW
The best way to get ready for the sale is to take a sneak peek of theNordstrom Anniversary Sale 2019 Catalog! The catalog will give you a good idea of some of the items that will be available even though there will be so much more. Pro Tip: See Details Online Now - You can take the item number from the catalog and plug it into the search bar to get more details about each product on the Nordstrom site.
Here are 12 items from the catalog that I definitely have my eye on so far. Let me know what items caught your eye! (Please note that the items won't be live until the sale starts on Friday).
WHAT SHOULD I BUY?
I’ve been shopping the Anniversary Sale for a few
years now and I’ve noticed that Nordstrom tends to bring back some of the same
items. They may tweek an item here and
there, but for the most part some are the same like these High-waisted Zella Leggings, this super soft Plush Throw, the Spanx Faux Leather Leggings
and this Madewell Ryder Cardigan. This year I
plan to be very focused on things that I need to replace in my closet and a few
items that I missed out on last year.I
plan to look for a really good pair of jeans, a couple of sweaters, basic
t-shirts, a skirt and a couple of shoes.I also plan to pick up a few beauty items and the infamous Barefoot Dreams In the Wild Throw because I've wanted one for a while now and it never goes on sale.
I’m so
excited to cover the 2019 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Stay tuned for a huge
try-on session on my blog and my LIKEtoKNOW.it page as soon as the sale goes live on Friday, July 12th at 12:30pm EST! I also plan to post the videos to my Instagram stories for additional references. And be sure to check back on this post as I update the blog with additional #NSale content over the next few weeks.
