I have fallen in love with everything buffalo check this
season and my favorite color combo is red and black. What about you guys? How much buffalo check is
in your closet? Luckily for us this print is everywhere lately, so there are
lots of designs and styles to choose from.
Just walk into any clothing store and I’m pretty sure you can find some
variation of buffalo check patterns in either red and black, white and navy,
green and black or even cobalt blue and black. And if you're afraid of looking like a lumberjack, then stay
away from the coats and flannels shirts and start out with a small accessory
like this infinity scarf or a cute clutch. Do you plan to add some buffalo check to your
wardrobe this weekend? What is your favorite
color combination?

Moody Style: It’s Been A While
Happy Holidays Everyone! I hope that you all had a
wonderful holiday season with your families and friends. I know that I did. Wow…I can’t believe how quickly this month
has flown by. I only recently realized
that it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything to my dear old blog. I’ve been so overwhelmed with traveling back
and forth for work, doing a ton of laundry and packing, Christmas shopping,
decorating/wrapping, that I was barely able to get anything else done let alone
blog. Every weekend has been packed full
of events and let’s just face it, I’ve just been exhausted. I hope that 2013 adds a little bit more
organization and structure to my life. Anyways,
I have a handful of posts lined up
over the next few days and I'll be posting them very soon. So, stay tuned. Did
you all enjoy your holiday? Did any of you travel anywhere special over the
holidays? Let me know in the comments.

Moody Style: In the Woods
One of the highlights of my San Francisco
trip was having chance to explore Muir Woods National Monument. The star attraction in this National Monument
is the magnificent coastal redwood forest. These majestic coastal redwood
trees are so tall and slender, that I felt like the size of an ant when I stood
next to them. The tallest coastal redwood at Muir Woods is about 258 feet,
approximately the height of a six-foot person stacked head to toe 45 times. And
the average age ranges anywhere from 600 to 800 years old. I’m extremely glad I got a
chance to visit this national landmark. I think that this park should be on the top of everyone’s list of things to do when visiting San
Francisco. Have any of you been to
Muir Woods yet? Let me know in comments.
***Side Note: I know that I’m a little more dressed up than the average person going to the park. This visit was a last minute addition to our day.
