Look of the Day: Summer Eyelet Dress

Happy Saturday Friends! Today I'm sharing few summer styles that I'm loving from Walmart. 

I don't know about you, but I've been checking out the Walmart website a lot lately for summer fashion finds.  I picked up a few pieces here and there over the past few months and I haven't been disappointed. Once I saw that this cute eyelet dress was restocked, I added it to my cart immediately. You know how much I love a flirty summer dress. This little white flutter sleeve dress is only $16 and it comes with pockets. It's perfect to wear to any fun gatherings that you have left for the summer and any vacation plans. I also think it could transition into the fall season with some cute booties and a denim jacket. 

I also picked up this cute Free Assembly Sleeveless U-Neck Midi Dress in the striped print. The fit is a little relaxed, so be sure to size down if you wanted a more fitted look. This print also comes in a cute Short Sleeve T-Shirt Dress option and it's under $20.  I also found this "Homegrown" graphic tank for $8 during a recent visit to Walmart along with my jeans that I found on clearance.

Moody Style: Off-The-Shoulder Stripes

If you follow me on Instagram and Snapchat, you know that I spent this past weekend in Savannah, GA for a IG/blogger meet-up.  I had such a great time making some new blogger friends and exploring the beautiful city. I plan to write a detailed post all about the meet-up soon, so stay tuned for more information.   

Well on Sunday morning, I met up with the group of bloggers for brunch at Soho South in downtown Savannah.  I decided to wear my new off-the-shoulder stripe dress and I’m glad that I did.  I couldn’t think of a more perfect outfit to wear in the sweltering heat we’ve been having lately.  I got this dress from SheIn.com earlier this month and it’s currently on sale for only $18.  It’s lightweight, loose and airy which is just the right touch for a hot summer day.  My favorite part of the dress are the stripes, the off the shoulder detailing and the fact that you get a detachable rope tie belt that really completes the look. This is the ultimate vacation dress and it will be part of the rotation for the rest of the summer. 

Are you guys getting tired of the off-the-shoulder look yet? I have to say I’m still a huge fan and I’m pretty sure that you haven’t seen the last of this look on me.  At least while the weather is still warm here in Florida.

I’m so bummed that I missed out on Anthropologie’s additional 15% off sale this past weekend.  But it was probably for the best because I find myself spending way to much there.  Last month, I purchased the Eyelet Halter Top and the Nuria Swing Tank, so I needed to slow down.

Happy Monday and First Day of Summer! I hope you all had a great weekend.  My weekend was pretty low-key  which I don’t get too many of those lately. So it was a welcomed change. Saturday I went to the gym in the morning and stayed home for the rest of the day.  After church yesterday, I drove to my parent’s house to celebrate Father’s Day by eating tons of food and watching t.v.  It was a perfect Father’s Day for my dad.  Did you all do anything special for Father’s Day?
