I purchased
these pumps in the secret plum color and I think they are so beautiful. Every time I
wear them, I receive so many compliments. They are not only versatile and
stylish, but also well made and super comfortable. The heel height is just right
– I’ve worn them for a long workday and didn’t have any issues or pain. If you're looking to buy a new pair of heels that you can wear everyday, then I highly
recommend these. They come in 8 colors and Banana Republic usually has some type of promotion going on, so you can get them at a good deal.
Today I’m teaming up with Banana Republic to share some of
my favorite classic pieces from the fall collection. Banana Republic has always been my go-to store
when it comes to buying classic, versatile and contemporary work ready
separates. Now I may be a little biased
since I worked for the company for a few years after college, but I’m never
disappointed when I walk into the store or search for something online. I always know that I’m going to find
effortlessly chic business casual pieces that I can wear to the office during
the week as well as hanging out with friend on the weekends.
This Seamless Ribbed Crew is the perfect sweater for the cooler
autumn weather. The knit of this sweather
is a super-soft cashmere blend that isn’t too heavy, but it keeps you warm. You can layer it over a classic white or a striped button-down shirt for the office or mix it up like I did here with this
sleeveless print tie-neck blouse. I paired this sweater with the Avery-Fit Ankle Pant in the
camel color. The Avery-Fit is a
professional and chic pant for work yet still trendy with a cropped ankle hem. These pants are a perfect fit for me and they
aren’t too fitted or tight, which is no-no in my office. These pants will look great with a blouse like
this one or this one and a blazer to create a more polished look.
When it comes to shoes, black heels are definitely the most
reliable option and they can be added to almost any outfit. The Madison 12-Hour Pump comes in 8 different
colors, including black to complete just about every look. These pumps are
comfortable, feminine and professional all at the same time. I bought these
heels in the secret plum color because I already own several black heels and I
wanted to add a pop of color to my outfit. So what do you all think about my favorite fall pieces
from Banana Republic? Have you checked out
Banana Republic’s new arrivals yet? When you have a chance, head over to the site and let me know what are some of your favorites this
fall.
You can never have enough colors of J.Crew's excursion quilted down vests, especially when they go on sale. I own this vest in 5 other colors and I obsessed with them despite me living in a warm state like Florida. The vest is super comfortable and the gold snap pockets are stylish as well as functional. The excursion vest is perfect for layering and the down insulation keeps you warm without overheating. This irish moss vest is currently on sale for $99.99 as well as the heather tiger lily color. And you can save an additional 30% off today when you use the code: 25HOURS.
This peplum top is just too perfect and it's only $18. As soon as I saw it in the store I knew I had to buy it. It also comes in an olive green/white stripe and a solid black in case you're not loving the stripes. The sleeves are a little snug, so I suggest sizing up on this one. I'm wearing a medium here and I'm really happy about how it fits. I love pairing any stripes with these leopard flats and this top is long enough for you to pair it with leggings - which I love. And I normally would have added one of my Kendra Scott necklaces, but I can't get enough of this bowtie choker. I think it really completed the look. What do you guys think? Are you guys loving the choker trend right now? Let me know in the comments below!
Here’s
another quick list of some things I’ve had my eye on this month. The best thing is that everything that I'm loving right now is under $50 - even the over-the-knee boots! Well, check out some of my must-haves for the
month and let me know what you think. Have you already started adding
some new pieces to your fall wardrobe?
You may
recall that I bought this BlankNYC Faux Leather Jacketover the summer during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It’s by far one of my favorite pieces that I
picked up. If you don’t already own a
leather jacket, then I would suggest adding this one to your wardrobe. This jacket is so versatile because it can be
worn all year long – in the fall/winter you can wear it with a pair of dark
rinsed jeans or a cute fall floral dress and in the spring/summer you can wear
it with white jeans or even some pretty pastels. It also comes in two colors like this camel/brown that I'm wearing and black. And the $98 price point
isn’t bad either considering the faux leather looks like the real thing. As far
as the fit is concerned, I think the jacket runs a little small. I’m wearing a Medium over this lace tunic and
I think it would fit fine over a thin sweater too. Well, what do
you think about adding this faux leather jacket to your fall wardrobe? Let me
know what other ways you would style it in the comments. Happy Friday Friends!

During
this time of year, I always reflect back on my childhood growing up in New
Jersey. Fall has always been my favorite season mostly because of the
cooler, crisp weather, the changing of the leaves, apple picking, hay rides,
drinking hot apple cider, eating apple cider donuts and going to an actual
pumpkin patch. And although the weather is a lot warmer than I would like
down here in Florida, it's still my favorite season. I just have to find
local southern fall activities that are just as fun as the ones I did when I
was younger. Yesterday, my friends and I went to a fall festival at the
Amazing Grace Crop Maze. If you’re looking for a family fun festival,
then look no further. There you’ll find a pumpkin patch with pumpkins of all
sizes, a corn maze, wagon rides, farm animals, a jump pad and so much
more. Since I don’t have any plans to head up North anytime soon, this
fall festival completely fit the bill.
On a fashionable
note – I wore this Red Gingham
Bell Sleeve Ruffle Hem Blouse for a fall country look since the festival was on a farm. I got this top from SheIn.com a
few weeks ago and it’s currently on sale for only $14. I’m obsessed with
the bell sleeves, the peplum hem and you know I love the red and white gingham
pattern. This top comes in one-size and it has no stretch. Just as
a size reference I normally wear a 4 or 6 in my tops and this top fits me
perfectly.
Thanks
for stopping by friends and I hope that you all have a great week!
