In the Mood – Now This Is Plaid // Target Style

I have to say I’m pretty excited for Target’s plaid takeover this fall and I can’t wait to see everything in person.  I recently learned that Target has teamed up with the New York-based designer, Adam Lippes, for a collaboration of his interpretation of Buffalo plaid.  The collaboration with Target will include more than 50 items in women’s and men’s apparel, shoes, accessories and home décor items. The mad for plaid collection will be available in select Target stores and on Target.com beginning Sept. 27th.  I’ve already checked out the lookbook and picked out some of my favorite pieces so far.  Based on what I’ve seen, it’s safe to say that Target stores will be very busy with this fun, fashionable pattern. So what do you all think about Target’s plaid, plaid world this fall? Moody Style: Paint Me Plaid

Are you guys mad for plaid like I am? I’ve wanted to grab a plaid shirt for a little some time now, but I just never bit the bullet until recently. I’m sure you’re wondering why…right? Well, I wanted to make sure that I found the right print and colors for me.  And thank goodness I finally did.  This Boy Shirt in Red Plaid from J.Crew immediately caught my eye a few months ago – especially since it was the only one in the store and luckily in my size.  Don’t you love it when that happens? I love the look of this shirt and I love how versatile it is too.  I was a little worried about wearing this look to work, but it surprising turned out great. What do you guys think?  Eventually, I plan to grab at least one more plaid shirt to make sure that I fulfill my little obsession for plaid.  Do any of you have any plaid items?  What’s your favorite piece?
