I’ve wanted a pair of the highly coveted Valentino Rockstuds for what seems like forever now. I decided to look up a few styles that I absolutely love, but
the prices immediately brought me back to reality. I don’t know if I’ll muster up the courage
to pay full price for a brand new pair of Valentino shoes, but a girl can dream
right? So I decided that until that day
comes, I’d have to look for the perfect copycat. I found several pairs that look really good
and they won’t break the bank. Take a
look below at some of the copycats that I found and let me know what you
think. Do you plan to rock a pair of the
copycats or the real deal?
Did you
all survive the Lilly Pulitzer for Target sale?
I have to admit, I wasn’t truly prepared for the frenzy and I’m not sure
that Target was either. My store sold
out of everything within the first 5 minutes of the doors opening. I missed out
on all of the clothes because I over slept and didn’t make it to the store in
time to line up – big mistake! Luckily,
I’ve been able to find a few things here and there from returns and a few decent
ladies on Instagram not trying to make an extra buck. I’ll share some of my goodies in a later
post.
I’m not
sure about you, but I often forget about shopping in Target’s clothing section
when I’m looking for something new to wear. And I’m quickly learning that I’ve been
missing out on some really cute stuff.I’m definitely looking into grabbing these flats, these heels and this handbag and this tote in the near future.A few weeks ago, I found this shirt that
reminded me of one of Mara Hoffman’s psychedelic prints and colors. After I tried it on and looked at the price,
I decided that I couldn’t leave it behind.I’m definitely going to check out the fashion section more often
so I don’t miss out on any fabulous finds.
To say
that I’m excited about the upcoming Lilly Pulitzer x Target Collection is an
understatement! Ever since I took a sneak peek of all of the pieces in the collection
– I’m beyond ecstatic. Target finally shared the full
Lilly Pulitzer x Target lookbook, which means we can start figuring out
which items we want before they are released online and in stores on April 19.
2015. If you’re like me, then you’re
going want to start to putting away some extra money now because you’re going
to want a little of everything. Even if you’re not a huge Lily Pulitzer fan, I
think that you’ll find that this collection has a little something for every
girlie girl.
The
250-piece collection includes dresses, jumpsuits, swimwear, handbags, shoes,
accessories, cosmetics and home goods. Most of the pieces are covered in Lily’s
signature Palm Beach-inspired prints.Target’s design team went back through the Lilly Pulitzer archives to
revive the best of the best prints to create fresh new designs for the spring.
The 15 vibrant sherbert colored patterns chosen in this collection definitely
keeps the line true to the Lilly Pulitzer label. And my favorite part about this
collection is that the retail prices start at $2 and go up to $150, with more
than 200 items that cost $30 or less. There's even a full plus-size collection
that will only be available online.
So, are
you starting to count down the days until the Lilly Pulitzer x Target
Collection launches? Do you plan to wait in lines outside of Target stores or
will you be shopping online in the comfort of your home? I’ve already created
an account on Tartget.com and will most likely do most of my shopping online. I’ve put together some of my favorites that
I’ll be adding to my shopping cart as soon as possible. I’m scared to see my total when I check out –
ouch! When you have a chance, take a
look at the complete lookbook and let me know what’s on your list.
